RHODIOLA Rosea

Commonly known as Roseroot, Rhodiola rosea has lime-green inflorescences which bloom from July to August attracting pollinators such as bees. Succulent blue-green foliage covers upright stems, this plant could easily be mistaken for a Sedum . 

Roseroot is often used for medicinal purposes such as aiding sensitive or dry skin, which means it deserves a place in any medicinally themed gardens. A position in full sun and a  well-drained soil is best for Rhodiola rosea. It will thrive in coastal locations and gravel gardens.
