‘Mother of Pearl’ is an elegant Penstemon, upright stems bear gorgeous dainty bell-shaped flowers during summer. Blooms are cream, tinged with pink and lilac markings. The throats of the flowers have pink and cream stripes. This Penstemon has semi-evergreen lance-shaped glossy green foliage.

Penstemon ‘Mother of Pearl’ is more than happy to grow in any reasonable, free-draining soil, in full sun. Do not be tempted to cut this perennial down before the winter. In spring, after the last frosts have passed, cut the plant back hard. These gorgeous flowers look fantastic in any borders or beds.
