Delicate sprays of open pale purple flowers with darker purple veins are carried above glossy green tri-lobed leaves. This dainty Geranium is much beloved by designers who use it to add texture and subtle long flowering colour into shady borders.  

A tough plant, its sprawling habit makes excellent ground cover, especially in drier soils and is suitable for informal mass planting of shady banks and slopes. An undemanding plant, it grows in sun or part shade in any reasonably fertile soil that is not too damp.  It will also tolerate dry shade.
