Ajuga reptans ‘Braunherz’ is a low growing perennial which produces gorgeous rounded purple foliage. ‘Braunherz’ is usually grown for its foliage however it does produces dark blue flower spikes during spring. 

A fantastic ground cover perennial which can be used at the front of your shady borders and flower beds where it will create a delightful, ground hugging carpet of leaves. Ensure that the soil is reasonably good and ‘Braunherz’ will flourish. The evergreen foliage looks sublime when dusted with frost.
